Why is now the time to make a donation, according to Nancy Pelosi?
Here’s what she said at our event:
“One year in advance is when we have to show the most strength going into the Midterms. Because one year in advance is when Republicans make a decision to seek re-election or make a decision about whether they are going to challenge our Democratic incumbents… Your help right now is so crucial.”
That is EVEN MORE true this year with Prop 50 in California. Democrats could have more opportunities than ever.
If we show massive grassroots strength NOW, Democrats will have an A-team of our incumbents and top recruits to run in 2026 and House Republicans will decide not to run or retire rather than face defeat because of Donald Trump’s political baggage from his un-American agenda and monstrous budget that rips health care and food from more than 20 million Americans.
But if our fundraising plummets and we roll back our organizing, Republicans will be emboldened to not only run good candidates — but expand the list of their target districts.
