I know your inbox is full of requests just like these from other campaigns, but with only 3 days left to reach our $100,000 goal, we could really use your support right now. But before I ask you to make a donation, I’ll share 3 reasons to help convince you.
- This could be an open seat. For months, there have been reports that Elise Stefanik is considering running for governor. Now, Politico just reported that she’s expected to officially announce in November. That means NY-21 would be an open seat, and we’ll have a lot of ground to cover over the next year.
- The momentum is on our side. Since we launched this campaign less than a year ago, we’ve accomplished a lot together: thousands of grassroots donors have stepped up to support us, and we’ve already held 15 town halls across the North Country (including one with Congressman Jamie Raskin!) to hear directly from everyday people like you.
- This is our next test. After the FEC filing deadline on Tuesday, we’ll have to publicly report how much we’ve raised. With this shaping up to be a critical battleground race, it means all eyes will be on our campaign to see if we’ve been able to keep up our momentum ahead of next year’s midterm elections.
