As you know, we are just over a week before ballots drop in California. And as you read this, some polls show us under 50%, and others show us just above 50%. In other words, this will be a close election.
Republicans are spending extraordinary amounts of big money to beat us -- because they know if they win, it means total control of the House for the foreseeable future. Especially since they are adding other states to Texas that are redistricting to find Republican seats.
On our side, the overwhelming majority of donations we receive come from people giving small amounts of money. And there is no greater source of those donations than emails like this one.
Now we have some final budget decisions we're making as the month comes to a close and before voting begins. And if we don't hit our goals, we have to pull stuff out of our plan. We don't want to do that.
So that means we have to keep sending these emails in the hopes that people who really want to make sure we win can chip in what they can. And today, I am asking you to give (or give again) if you can so we can fund a program we're sure will win.
