You can save the Desert National Wildlife Refuge in Nevada!
<<name>>,
Our State animal, the Desert Bighorn just lost its home to the military if
Utah Congressman Rob Bishop gets his way.
Recently, the House Armed Services Committee voted to give away the
largest wildlife refuge in the lower 48 states. That place is the Desert
National Wildlife Refuge, located here in Nevada, and the attacks on it
are led by Utah Congressman, Rob Bishop.
This is an egregious and colossal mistake and must be fixed quickly. We
cannot allow a Congressman from Utah, who hates our public lands, to
destroy this special place. If he gets his way most of the Desert National
Wildlife Refuge will become a military base and be a refuge in name only.
The Desert Refuge is located in Congressman Horsford’s district and we
need his leadership to fix this. Here’s how you can help.
Call his office today at (702) 963-9360 to thank him for his leadership to
protect the Desert Refuge and ask him to lead our delegation in ensuring a
fix to this horrendous land grab.

While you’re at it -- call Speaker Nancy Pelosi (202) 225-4965) and tell
her to help our delegation fix this and protect Nevada’s lands.
The Nevada Delegation have always been champions for public lands. Now
more than ever, with Donald Trump and Rob Bishop leading attacks on
Nevada’s public lands, we need them to stand up for the Desert Refuge and
push back against these attacks and Rep. Horsford must lead the way.
Thank you for making your voice heard,
