This is utterly disturbing and truly shocking, especially ahead of this year’s Independence Day.

We’ve learned that reports indicate Russia was paying bounties to Taliban-linked fighters to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan – and President Trump claims he didn’t know and was never told about it , even though it was written in his intelligence briefs as early as February!

This story is still developing, and we’ll watch it closely. To date, there has been no action from this administration on these shocking U.S. intelligence reports.

I don’t know what’s worse, folks : A president that knew about a threat to our troops and did nothing, or a president who is so incapable of leadership that he failed to read his intelligence briefs that contained this critical information.

But either way, let’s be clear: Donald Trump owns this. We know he has an affinity for Putin. He makes unhinged decisions. That’s pretty scary as it goes, but when the decisions involve the lives of our American citizens — it’s downright dangerous.
