Friend,
As we head into the holiday weekend, I wanted to reach out to say THANK YOU!
Because of your support, we reach our second-quarter FEC goal, even before the deadline! This puts us in a strong position heading into the final four months of this election tied with Don Young.
Here’s a quick look back.
This entire quarter we ran a socially distant campaign. There’s no playbook for how to campaign during a pandemic, but Team Alyse did what Alaskans do best—we used our creativity and resourcefulness to rally together as a community.
As a result, we’ve seen an outpouring of support from every corner of the state. Our volunteers made thousands of wellness calls, making sure folks had what they needed during this crisis and listening to their concerns. We’ve seen incredible energy at our virtual meet and greets and town halls. And, this grassroots team is stepping up. Last quarter we brought in more contributions than ever before!
Every day, I am reminded of why I want to be a champion for all Alaskans if elected. This week, I celebrated my 31st wedding anniversary. My husband Pat and I reflected on how much this state has given us. It probably won’t surprise you to read that when we were dating and starting to talk about marriage, I had one condition: we had to stay in Alaska.
Now, we’re the proud parents of four amazing kids raised and educated in Alaska. Like any parent, I want to make sure that Alaska is a place with the jobs, educational opportunities, and vibrant communities that will allow my children — and every child — to live, work and raise families right here in Alaska, too. That’s why I’m running.
I’m grateful to all of you who share my vision and belief in better. We are creating something truly special here. Because of the generosity this quarter, we will be able to fund many new ways to reach out to voters. Stay tuned for filming, mail, radio, zooming all over Alaska, and more!
Stay healthy and hopeful,
Alyse
