Friends,
Independence Day this year will be so very different than any in my lifetime. Like everyone else, I will miss the gatherings, the parades, the crowds watching fireworks, the patriotic speeches about our wonderful nation, and most of all, being around people from our community whom I love, cherish, and celebrate for all they do to make our state and our nation the best place in the world to call home.
But on top of altering how we come together as a nation to recognize the freedoms, liberties, and founding of our amazing country, we are sadly confronted by a movement and many complicit forces who demand we cast aside our love of country and proclaim our founding as inherently evil, racist, and deserving of scorn. These people tear down monuments to heroes of our past, people who fought for freedom, equality, and to lift us out of tyranny. Too many of us are unwilling to confront these destructive forces. Too many of us think, "If I stay quiet, they will leave me alone."
Make no mistake, they won't. The mob only feeds on our silence. It feeds on bringing down individuals, shouting in the faces of people who are simply looking to live their lives, and truly would like nothing more than to be left alone. And so, the mob must be confronted - their Marxism must be called out and the foulness of their cause to rip apart the very foundations of goodness and freedom of America must be condemned for what it is - a hatred of the American Republic.
For speaking this truth, I have received threats of violence, rape, and attacks against my home and my children. But we CANNOT BE SILENT in the face of such attacks against a just people and a free nation. So I ask this of you my friends, be fearless in your love for our country, stand your ground against the fascism and tyranny confronting us, and know in your very soul that what we fight to protect, preserve, and help prosper today will make for a stronger American future tomorrow for ALL of our children.
I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN and I will never be ashamed to say it. Do something simple tomorrow, share this message and let people know YOU TOO are PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. We cannot be silent any longer.
I sincerely hope you have a glorious and blessed Independence Day and recommit yourself to preserving the values that are dear to us because the truths we hold self-evident will ALWAYS be a beacon of hope, strength, liberty, and freedom for people the world over. Never forget that, NEVER SURRENDER, and never be afraid to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA - THE LAND THAT I LOVE!
Beth
