Free Speech and the First Amendment are the backbone of our democracy. They protect not just the speech we agree with, but—most importantly—the speech we disagree with from government censorship.

This week, Country First members stood up during our Day of Action, lobbying Congress to defend the First Amendment. History shows us what happens when authoritarians rise—they silence dissent, silence opposition, and silence democracy.
