Game and Fish recognizes outstanding landowners at 2025 Landowner of the Year reception
For 30 years, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department has recognized landowners throughout the state who have demonstrated outstanding wildlife management and implemented habitat improvement and conservation techniques on their properties with Landowner of the Year Awards.

Game and Fish accepting nominations for 2026 Outdoor Hall of Fame
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is accepting nominations for the 2026 Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame. This honor recognizes individuals who have made significant, lasting, lifetime contributions to the conservation of the state’s outdoor heritage. Nominations will be accepted until March 2026.

Wildlife Crossing groundbreaking marks countdown to 2027 completion
On Sept. 11, WYDOT and Wyoming Game and Fish hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the next step in building a series of wildlife crossings for the Kemmerer South Wildlife Crossing Project located along US Highway 189.
