Lawyers representing an anonymous anti-abortion plaintiff presented their arguments this morning in a hearing that was the next step in a lawsuit to try to force Planned Parenthood health centers in Texas to shut down. We won't stand idly by: Donate for every minute a baseless claim was made.

Lawsuits like this sham have one goal: To make it even harder for people to get sexual and reproductive health care. Women, people with low incomes, and other communities who have historically faced barriers to care due to discrimination and racism will be harmed the most if health centers close. We must act fast.

Donate for every minute of attacks on care in court today to build the resources needed to protect patients.

We're headed to federal court TODAY to fight back in a hearing as a baseless lawsuit filed by the state of Texas and an anonymous plaintiff against Planned Parenthood Federation of America and against Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas proceeds. The court has given our side 30 minutes to lay out the facts.

The court will allow the anonymous plaintiff's attorneys 30 minutes to continue their outrageous attack on patient care. Today's hearing is part of a sham lawsuit that is yet another attempt to drain our resources and shut down health centers.

Show the people behind these attacks that we will not be intimidated, we will not be silenced, and we will never stop fighting for care. Will you give $1 or more for every minute of courtroom attacks?

The case never should have gotten this far. Planned Parenthood health centers followed the law and provided essential care, including birth control, STI testing and treatment, cancer screenings, and more for Texas patients who use Medicaid to cover their services.

That's it.

Then, Texas politicians and an anonymous plaintiff launched a $1.8 BILLION lawsuit. The case has dragged on for years, putting a strain on resources, and continues to threaten to shut down health centers.

It's outrageous — but we know we aren't in this fight alone. Your support will help defend care and demonstrate once again that Planned Parenthood will protect patients and their care, no matter what.

Show your support now — $1 or whatever you can afford — for every minute of their courtroom attacks today.
