Day 249

It’s Day 249 of President Trump’s second term. No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies.

Trump’s Growing Economy

There’s good news on the economy today. Jobless claims were much lower than the “experts” predicted. Consumer spending was up, as were durable goods purchases—more expensive items meant to last a long time. An increase in such purchases generally suggests a healthy economy.

And there’s more.

Second quarter gross domestic product, a measure of the overall economy, was revised up to 3.8%, a strong figure. In addition, new home sales last month rose to a three-year high. And while existing home sales were down, the decline was much lower than expected.

Housing is a big driver of economic growth, which is why President Trump has been pushing so hard for lower interest rates.

More On The Motive

A debate last night on CNN devolved into a shouting match when leftist commentator Bakari Sellers attempted to gaslight the country. Sellers claimed that because the victims who were shot at the Dallas immigration facility were illegal aliens, the shooting was not an attack on immigration police, regardless of the anti-ICE message etched on the bullets.

Sellers wasn’t the only one. Multiple networks last night brought on “experts” to do a “Jimmy Kimmel.” They were attempting to convince us that etching anti-ICE messages on bullets clearly suggested the shooter was a “right-winger,” trying to hide his real ideology.

That’s a bunch of “bull.”

FBI Director Kash Patel released new information that confirms the obvious motive of the shooter. FBI agents recovered his handwritten note that read, “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP [armor-piercing] rounds on that roof?’”

The shooter also researched apps that track the location of Dallas immigration police and downloaded a document that listed Department of Homeland Security facilities in Dallas.

He was also watching “assassination porn,” searching for “Charlie Kirk Shot Video” the day before his attack.

Mr. Sellers owes the CNN audience (all 12 of them) an apology.

Left-wing Hate

Radical leftists are recruiting new members on the campus of Georgetown University as they mock Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Obscene flyers were posted with the phrase, “Hey, Fascist, Catch!” That is the same phrase that Kirk’s assassin etched into one of his bullets.

Below that phrase is this line: “The only political group that celebrates when Nazis die.” The flyers also have QR codes that take you to the website of the Georgetown John Brown Club, where they claim:

“We’re building a community that’s done with ceremonial resistance and strongly worded letters. If you want to make a real change in your community, let us know.”

Their idea of “real change” is not voter registration or community organizing. The group takes its inspiration from the 19th-century violent abolitionist John Brown, who led guerrilla raids to free slaves in Kansas.

Today, John Brown Clubs are far-left extremist groups dedicated to “social-justice revolution.” They are Marxists committed to, among other things, “abolishing the police and other perceived symbols of oppression,” including immigration enforcement.

The radical leftists who ambushed immigration police in Alvarado, Texas, on July 4th were members of a John Brown Club.

More Marxist Terrorists

John Brown Clubs are closely aligned with another extreme Marxist group, Redneck Revolt. This group openly declares:

“Police, prisons, courts, artificial borders, and other systems of social control only exist to serve the rich. The nation-state project came into existence to protect the propertied classes and keep us working people poor. . .

“Capitalism is an economic system that methodically keeps the vast majority of people in the world impoverished while they labor to enrich a small minority of people. . .

“Our struggle against patriarchy is central to our struggle against capitalism and the nation-state. Just as the white working class has benefited from white supremacy, many men (especially those who are not trans) have benefited from patriarchy. . .

“We are not pacifists. Redneck Revolt believes in using any and all means at our disposal to gain our freedom and true liberty. . . Redneck Revolt believes that there will have to be a complete restructuring of society to provide for the survival and liberty of all people.”

Many people have asked, “Where are all these leftist rioters getting their tactical gear and equipment?” One likely source is Red Star Defense, which is promoted by Redneck Revolt. Their sales records would be very revealing.

In addition to Armed Queers, another radical group attracting more attention is the Socialist Rifle Association (SRA). The SRA’s membership cards have a picture of Karl Marx on them. Members of the SRA have committed multiple violent crimes, including attacks on Tesla dealerships.

President Trump has vowed to crack down on violent left-wing domestic terrorism. That effort is essential to the survival of our constitutional Republic. Members of these extremist groups are not going to be debated out of their revolutionary agenda.

In addition to Antifa, John Brown Clubs, Redneck Revolt, and Red Star Defense should be top FBI priorities.

Trans Terrorism

The Left is constantly pushing statistics that are manipulated to stoke fear. This is particularly true in the case of school shootings. But when you dig deeper into the numbers, something deeply disturbing emerges.

When you focus solely on major ideologically motivated school shootings, you narrow them down to eight such events in the past ten years. Half of them (50%) involved a transgender shooter or a shooter motivated by transgender ideology. But transgender individuals make up only 1% of the population, at most.

By the way, 30% of the Socialist Rifle Association’s national leaders “identify” as transgender, and 8% of its members claim to be transgender.

Justice For James

Washington is buzzing with reports that disgraced former FBI Director James Comey may be indicted at any moment for lying to Congress. Comey has been under investigation by the FBI for months now.

If it’s going to happen, it needs to happen soon. The statute of limitations runs out in five days.

Hegseth’s Big Meeting Stokes Speculation

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has summoned the military’s top leaders to a meeting in Virginia next week. But this is no ordinary meeting. There’s no need to summon the Joint Chiefs of Staff for a meeting in Virginia—they work at the Pentagon.

Hegseth’s order applies to all general and flag officers—all 800 generals and admirals here in the U.S. and around the world. The size of this in-person meeting is highly unusual, and it’s causing a great deal of speculation.

Some think it has to do with Hegseth’s stated goal of eliminating 10% of general and flag officers—those with one star or higher. Others are saying it might be about the government shutdown, which would start Wednesday. It’s certainly possible that those two things are related. (See next item.)

The Schumer Shutdown

President Trump was supposed to meet with Democrat congressional leaders today to discuss their differences over government funding levels. Government agencies run out of money in five days.

But after reviewing a list of demands from Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries, President Trump canceled the meeting.

In a Truth Social post, the president wrote, “I have decided that no meeting with their Congressional Leaders could possibly be productive.” Trump concluded by telling Democrat leaders, “The ball is in your court. I look forward to meeting with you when you become realistic about the things that our Country stands for.”

In the meantime, President Trump made it clear that this will be no ordinary government shutdown where “non-essential” bureaucrats are sent home for a paid vacation until a new funding bill is worked out.

Trump ordered agency heads to use this opportunity to permanently reduce the federal workforce based on certain conditions.

Triple Sabotage

President Donald Trump is accusing U.N. bureaucrats of “triple sabotage.” In a Truth Social post, the president wrote:

“First, the escalator going up to the Main Speaking Floor came to a screeching halt. It stopped on a dime. . . Then, as I stood before a Television crowd of millions of people all over the World, and important Leaders in the Hall, my teleprompter didn’t work. . .

“And third, after making the Speech, I was told that the sound was completely off in the Auditorium where the Speech was made, that World Leaders, unless they used the interpreters’ earpieces, couldn’t hear a thing. . .

“This wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I’m sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation.”

President Trump noted press reports that “UN workers had joked about turning off escalators and lifts so the president would have to walk up the stairs.”

This is no joke, and this president is no pushover.
