Dear PFAW Member,

In March, the Senate got to work to allocate $500 billion to bail out
corporations in the midst of the pandemic. Ever since then, Trump and
Republicans have tried to eliminate the ability of Congress and the
Treasury Department to provide oversight into how that taxpayer money is
spent.

[ [link removed] ]We've allocated way too much money to bail out corporations for it to
be spent without oversight. Add your name to our petition in support of
the CORE Act which provides oversight now!>>

Congress must pass this legislation to enact commonsense oversight and
transparency measures dedicated to ensuring that our taxpayer dollars are
being awarded to those in need and spent according to the intent of the
law.

Americans deserve to be able to trust that someone is watching how the
$500 billion that has been allocated is being spent. The CORE Act would
make it harder to fire government inspectors general, give subpoena power
to the congressional watchdog tasked with monitoring coronavirus relief
funds, and protect whistleblowers in the public and private sectors who
come forward with evidence of fraud related to the coronavirus response.

Corporations cannot get away with misusing our tax dollars.
