The election of Donald Trump has been an utter disaster for our nation. His presidency has been riddled with scandals, lies, self-interest, and deceit. He puts himself before the needs of the country, and time after time has proven that he is simply unable to withstand the demands of our nation's highest office. Presidents should be held to the highest degree of scrutiny, but Donald Trump crumbles at the slightest criticism.

I first got involved in the fight for civil rights in the 1960s. While we've certainly made progress, so much of what we were fighting for over 50 years ago still has yet to be achieved. We have an opportunity this November to make a loud, unmistakable statement about our values of equality and justice ‑‑ but Donald Trump and his GOP allies are standing in the way of that. We must elect Joe Biden ‑‑ so much depends on it.

That's why I'm supporting Joe Biden ‑‑ he's the candidate who will begin to restore the dignity of our nation on the world's stage.

If you're able, will you chip in $5 to Joe's campaign? Trump has had years to fundraise for his reelection, and it's on all of us to make sure Vice President Biden doesn't fall behind the GOP money machine.
