Today is Daughter’s Day, and as a mom of two young girls, I’m thinking about the kind of future we’re building. Not just for my daughters, but for every daughter growing up in America.

Right now, that future is under threat. From attacks on reproductive freedom to book bans and school censorship, GOP extremists are doing everything they can to take away the rights and voices of women and girls across this country.
We’ve made so much progress over the years, but the fight is far from over. I see it in the headlines. I hear it from parents. And I feel it deeply as a mom who wants her daughters to grow up in a better world than the one we inherited.
