FIRST: Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, was recorded in September 2024 accepting a $50,000 bribe from undercover FBI agents after indicating he could provide them with government contracts in a second Trump administration, according to an MSNBC report [[link removed]].
THEN: Trump’s DOJ closed the FBI’s case against Homan, calling it a politically motivated “deep state” probe.
NOW: House and Senate Democrats are opening investigations [[link removed]] into the Trump administration's decision to close the case, demanding that Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel turn over all materials related to the case.
