Friend,
One year ago, Hurricane Helene brought unprecedented devastation to our beloved western North Carolina. Our leaders and first responders immediately sprang into action, sending support to those affected. Hundreds of North Carolinians also volunteered to help their neighbors with rescue, food, water, and medical supplies.
As we know, rebuilding has been a long, uphill process. Several families are just now finally able to return to their homes and reopen local businesses. I had the privilege of touring a family farm earlier this year to assess recovery efforts and reaffirm my commitment to helping our neighbors rebuild.

The resilience and strength from our neighbors inspires me to continue my fight in Congress to secure federal resources for long-term recovery efforts.
Much like our work to rebuild is not over, my work in Congress is not over either. I know there is still so much to do to ensure our communities are once again thriving, strong, and better than ever. If elected to serve NC-01 once again in 2026, I promise to keep this goal in the forefront of everything I do.
In solidarity,
Don Davis
