Working Families Town Hall - Sun., Sept. 28 @ 5 PM; Mason Government Center. The Fairfax County Democratic Committee is excited to invite everyone to our upcoming Working Families Town Hall! Join Mason District Supervisor Andres Jimemez, and Delegates Vivian Watts, Dan Helmer, and Holly Seibold and other Democrats for a friendly, town hall-style discussion where we will be discussing key issues, including the rising cost of living, the impact of recent policies on our local economy, and the challenges in the housing market. How We Win The Information War: A National Affairs Committee Policy Forum - Thurs., Oct. 9 @ 7 PM; Zoom webinar. This in-depth policy forum of experts from across media fields will explore strategies to tackle and overcome the left's media deficit and urgently build media ecosystems, infrastructure, and capacity that fight mis- and disinformation and support democracy. This will be recorded and uploaded to the FCDC YouTube channel.

Virginia Gubernatorial Debate at Norfolk State University - Thurs., Oct. 9 @ 7 PM. WDVM-TV, WDCW-TV, YouTube. The only gubernatorial debate of 2025 will be hosted by Norfolk State University and available in the Washington DC Metro area on WDCW-TV and WDVM-TV. Saturday, September 27 @ 9 AM to Wednesday, October 1 @ 5 PM: Pre-registration for an electronic ballot to be emailed to you for remote voting.

Thursday, October 2 @ 12 PM to Saturday, October 4 @ 5 PM: Remote voting period. You will receive an email with the directions to vote your electronic ballot.

Saturday, October 4 from 9 AM to 5 PM (Participant/Voters in line at 5 PM will be permitted to vote): In-person electronic voting at these Firehouse Primary locations:

Participants must sign a pledge affirming they are qualified voter in the Braddock District at the time of their participation and that they will not support any candidate who is opposed to the Democratic nominee in the Special Election. Use fairfaxvotes.org/lookup/ to confirm you live in Braddock District or use the Virginia Department of Elections Citizen Portal to confirm your voter registration status. The Citizen Portal will also provide your precinct and district; BRADDOCK precincts are in the 100 series, for example, 104 = Chapel and 127 = Burke Centre.

Participation may be either remote/electronic by-email or in-person/electronic, as described below. Watch ElectionBuddy Voting.

Remote voting by by-email and voting in-person is conducted using the secure ElectionBuddy.com voting platform. Paper ballots will not be issued.

Ranked Choice Voting will be the system of voting. See Understanding How Preferential Voting Works for more information. (ElectionBuddy calls it "preferential" or "instant runoff voting"; the three terms are interchangeable.) Watch How Ranked Choice Voting Makes More Votes Count.
