Hi John—
The school year is well underway and, for many families, it brings excitement for new beginnings and hope for the future.
But for too many students, especially in immigrant communities, the classroom can also come with fear. No child should have to worry about safety on the way to school. Every student deserves a chance to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, welcoming environment, no matter their background or immigration status.
That’s why we’re joining our partners tomorrow, Thursday, September 25th at 5PM ET, for a virtual community call. Together, we’ll share strategies we can all use to ensure every student can learn in a safe, welcoming environment, free from fear. We hope you’ll join us.
