International superstar Lionel Richie will come to Nottingham next summer to play a special outdoor concert in the beautiful surroundings of Victoria Embankment and Nottingham residents can be the first to get their tickets...
Tickets go on sale Friday 10 July at 10am but pre-sale tickets for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire residents?are available from 10am today.
With a capacity of 18,000, the concert will be one of the largest headline shows the city has seen in decades.
Lionel Richie has a discography of albums and singles that are second to none. His music is part of the fabric of pop music; in fact, Richie is one of only two songwriters in history to achieve the honor of having #1 records for nine consecutive years. Richie has sold more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, as well as being the recipient of an Oscar?, a Golden Globe?, and four Grammy Awards?

This summer, friends and family are invited to enjoy?outdoor screenings of their favourite films from the comfort of their cars.
With 80s classics ?including?Back to the Future, Labyrinth, The Goonies and The Blues Brothers ? to family favourites like Grease, The Greatest Showman and The Lion King, there's something for everyone at the Adventure Drive-In.
Enjoy visuals on a giant LED screen alongside a full light show. Sound will be transmitted via state-of-the-art speakers given to each car upon arrival.

 Nottingham City Council has? announced the cancellation of two major summer events.
The Nottingham Beach and Riverside Festival will not take place this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
It was hoped they could go ahead but, following careful consideration, the decision has been taken that it is not possible with the need to provide safe social distancing and while the staging of live entertainment remains prohibited.
