Hi John,
My name is Stephan Abrams, and I’m the Organizing Manager for Team ENOUGH. I was 15 years old when I got started with Brady’s youth-led organizing team. I was a passionate high schooler, and I was frustrated with the notion that there was nothing I could do as I watched the first Trump administration unravel hard-fought progress. Then, 17 people were shot and killed by a gunman in a school in Parkland, Florida.
That was my call to action. I started organizing Team ENOUGH chapters across Southern California to stand against the easy access to guns that have enabled school shootings and gun violence across this country. Team ENOUGH continues to show up to state capitals across the country and the halls of Congress, pushing for legislation that will make our communities and schools safer.
I’m 22 now, and I’ve grown a lot in this movement. Team ENOUGH now has dozens of chapters across the United States that give students the opportunity to get involved – an opportunity for me to help empower the next generation of student activists . Our volunteers, students ages 13-26, educate their peers and communities about the importance of stronger gun laws and safe storage, leveraging their voices at town halls and lobby days to challenge complacent elected officials. Will you fuel our fight to free our classrooms from gun violence? [[link removed]]

Only weeks into the new school year, students have witnessed shootings across the country on their campuses. Last week, my heart sank to my stomach as I read the news of an active shooter in Evergreen, CO, and awaited a response from Team ENOUGH members in that district to confirm they were safe. This is just one of too many recent tragedies, from two children killed in Minneapolis, MN, in their first week of school, to the active shooter threats occurring at universities across the country.
Students are scared to go to school. They are watching fellow students around the country getting gunned down, and they fear for the day it’ll be them or their classmates. That fear is why our youth advocacy is more important than ever. At Team ENOUGH, we know we deserve better, and we demand better from our leaders.
Students deserve to call out the complacent lawmakers who watch their peers get killed in school and offer nothing but thoughts and prayers. John, will you support Team ENOUGH to uplift student voices and change our country for the better? [[link removed]]

Team ENOUGH members are the leaders from Generation Lockdown who won’t accept the reality that puts them and their classmates at risk every single day. These leaders know that guns are the leading cause of death for people under 25, and we demand action from lawmakers that will allow them to go to school without the fear of having to hide or fight for their lives.
This is the first year I won’t be returning to campus, but I still worry. I worry about my Mom, a school teacher. I worry about my younger siblings, both students in college. And, I worry about the next time I’ll get a text from one of our students telling me that they are in lockdown. John, if there is someone you worry about, too, will you consider supporting Team ENOUGH today? [[link removed]]
