An update

Hi John,

Good news! We reached our goal: we raised over $100,000 last quarter.

And we did it without taking a dollar from corporate PACs or lobbyists.

Our message of protecting and expanding Social Security, and ensuring everyone has a job, home, and health care is resonating with voters across District 6.

While my opponent Rep. Derek Kilmer flip-flopped on Social Security by joining Republicans in signing a letter calling for cuts to Social Security, I have never flip-flopped on my values. Like most people, I am fed up with politicians who say one thing and do another.

You can count on me to stand up for what’s right and do what I say.

It’s been one year now since I started this campaign, and in that time I have never wavered on my values.

Now we’re in the final sprint to the primary. Voting starts in 15 days, and we need to raise more money to contact voters. I don’t have millions in corporate cash like Derek Kilmer, but what I do have is hundreds of volunteers ready to hit the phones. We just need the funds to pay for the phone banking software. Can you chip in $3 now to fund our phone banking?
