We celebrated by assisting Pennsylvanians to vote and engaging in meaningful conversations.
John,
Last week marked National Voter Registration Day (NVRD), and the New PA Project Education Fund celebrated by assisting Pennsylvanians to vote and engaging in meaningful conversations about the importance of the upcoming general election across the Commonwealth.
More specifically, NPPEF staff were on college campuses working to engage youth voters by handing out free snacks, voter guides, judicial candidate guides, and, of course, lots of civic education.
And it was a big success! NPPEF assisted nearly 200 Pennsylvanians in registering to vote on National Voter Registration Day!

Students play a unique role in shaping the policies that affect their lives through their vote, like education funding, climate action, and job opportunities. Registering to vote ensures their perspectives are represented.
NPPEF staff also helped students navigate common hurdles, such as missing registration deadlines or dealing with changes to their home/college addresses. We want to make sure casting their ballot is as smooth as possible this November 4th!
Donations to the New PA Project Education Fund supports our staff’s voter and community engagement efforts including; voter registration, civic education, organizing and hosting town halls, educational webinars, community conversations, and creating digital content, bi-weekly blasts and social media to reach the communities we engage year-round.
The New PA Project Education Fund (NPPEF) is a non-partisan organization led by community leaders across the Commonwealth dedicated to centering underrepresented and underserved communities to embrace their power. NPPEF ensures full participation in the democratic process through civic education and year-round engagement by centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth - with intention - as they are the least represented and most impacted by decisions our government is making.
