Hey John,

I wanted to pause for a moment and say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly grateful for this grassroots team.

My team and I told you how important this past FEC deadline was and you stepped up. We finished our quarter strong and are gaining momentum so that we can win in November. I am grateful that you have continued to believe in the importance of our race and have supported this team.

The Washington Post announced that our district was a “must-win” for Republicans to retake the House and Republicans have taken it seriously. National Republicans have poured money into our district and Donald Trump Jr. has even raised money for our opponent Jim Bognet. But, because of folks like you, we’ve been able to match this stream of dark money with grassroots donations.

I am ready to fight to make sure this seat stays in Democratic control so that we can continue fighting for important issues in Congress. Like getting Americans good, affordable healthcare, and making sure we leave a clean planet for future generations. Now more than ever, we need to keep our country moving forward. I am committed to making sure that happens, and with your help, we can win this race.
