On September 12, 2025, the Republican
Party of Kenosha County hosted a solemn vigil at their headquarters on
Green Bay Road to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk. More than
260 community members gathered to pay their respects and reflect on
his impact.
The program featured remarks from
Republican Party of Kenosha County Chairwoman Sandy Wiedmeyer, local
elected officials, Pastor Jameson, and a Kenosha father whose son
attended Kirk’s final event. Speakers expressed deep sorrow over
Kirk’s untimely passing while celebrating his lifelong commitment to
courage, conviction, and service.
Attendees placed flowers beneath a
large banner bearing Kirk’s image and one of his defining
quotes: “If you believe in something, you need to have the courage
to fight for those ideas — not run away from them or try and silence
them.”
The evening served as both a
memorial and a call to carry forward Kirk’s message of bravery and
conviction in beliefs even in the face of adversity.
Thank You to all those who came out to
honor Charlie's memory and legacy
