After a tough spring, this news is just what the doctor ordered:

We met our quarterly fundraising goal!

It was a close one, and I can’t thank you enough for all of your generous contributions over the past three months -- but especially over this past week when we came to you for help in the 11th hour.

Once our report goes public, I’m confident that we’re going to send a clear message that our movement is strong, and that we have a broad base of support from people right here in CA-08. That’s thanks to you.

I believe that we have the ingredients to make history and completely change the political landscape of our community. And it’s coming at a time when smart and responsible leadership is more important than ever to guide us out of the unprecedented crises that we’re in.

It will be my honor to represent CA-08 in our nation’s capital. Now, we just have to keep this wonderful momentum going through November. I know we have it in us.
