Hi Friend,
We have been advancing price transparency in health care for years, and lawmakers are finally taking notice—and action.

On Tuesday, U.S. Senators Mike Braun, Mike Enzi, Joni Ernst, Chuck Grassley, and John Kennedy introduced “The Healthcare PRICE Transparency Act” to bring much-needed accountability, transparency, and competition to the healthcare industry.

You can read more about the bill here ([link removed]) .

Between our healthcare and economic crises, and just life in general, you shouldn’t have to guess what you will owe for healthcare services. You shouldn’t have to fear getting hit with surprise bills after you get care. And you shouldn’t be left without a choice when it comes to the care you receive.

What you SHOULD have is:
* Access to pricing information BEFORE you get care
* The freedom to choose how, where, and from whom you receive care
* The security to know you have the information you need, in real time, to make the best decisions for your health care

That’s what the new price transparency bill would provide. ([link removed])

The Healthcare PRICE Transparency Act was introduced in the Senate to codify the price transparency rules that we championed that were implemented by the Administration.

But Executive Orders and rules can be overturned by future Administrations controlled by healthcare industry cronies. So that is why it is important that the price transparency rules become law.

With transparent pricing, you’ll be able to plan ahead, shop around, and compare prices and reviews from a variety of healthcare providers, in order to find the best value.

Price transparency in health care will not only allow you to see the price of care upfront—but it will also result in lower costs and increased choices for patients. That is how a truly competitive, functional healthcare marketplace should function.
