The Senate majority is not enough, folks.
You read that right. Even if Democrats take back the Senate – even if Joe Biden is in the White House – it won't be enough to protect our democracy if Mitch McConnell is still in the Senate.
As minority leader under President Obama, McConnell single-handedly changed the rules of the Senate, uniting the GOP caucus against Obama's agenda and creating unprecedented partisan gridlock that we're still suffering from today.
And now, even as Democrats are surging in the polls nationwide, it still won't be enough if we let the most powerful and corrupt man in Washington stay in the Senate.
The good news is, we've never had a better opportunity to defeat McConnell. Amy McGrath just officially won the Democratic nomination to face him, and a brand-new poll shows her LEADING Mitch by one point!
The bad news is, Mitch is fighting back harder than ever. He just directed a new super PAC to spend $11 million to attack Amy and save his seat, and every special interest from Big Pharma to the NRA are pouring millions more into his campaign war chest.
