John,
I wanted to reach out to you today to say thank you so much for your continued support. Grassroots donors from across the country came together to emphatically say that they’re ready to see Texas’ first veteran congresswoman, and we were able to fly past our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
So for that, and all the support you’ve shown me throughout this race, I want to say thank you.
But fundraising is just a means to an end. The real battle is coming up in less than two weeks now. We’ve got to finish this campaign as strong as ever, not just so we can make sure we’re on top on Election Night, but also to ensure we have the firepower to dive right back into the next battle.
Right now, I’m being attacked from both sides. From the Republicans that don’t want to face me in the general election, and from my Democratic opponent, whose campaign is spreading outright lies about me on the airwaves.
It’s because of your support that I’m able to keep up our fight, and it’s because of your support that I’m going to win this runoff election in a week and a half.
I’ve got to run now, but you’ll be hearing more from my team and me shortly.
Over and out,
Kim Olson
