Earlier this month, I sent you my latest survey to hear directly from you about what issues matter most to you and your family. This is my most important job – listening to your thoughts and using them to make change in Congress.

Here’s what folks had to say:
 

89% of respondents said they were affected by rising costs in the last year. A majority of respondents are concerned about the attacks on our democracy. 82% of respondents said they were worried by cuts to programs including Medicaid and food assistance.

There’s no question about it: We’re facing unprecedented challenges. How we respond is critical, and with your continued support, I’m pushing back to make progress for IL-13.

There’s a lot more to be done – fighting for the dignity of work, advocating for farmers, securing health care, offsetting the cost of living, and much more. While the work is hard, it’s well worth it.
