Will you stand with me to protect our most vulnerable? Click or tap >>
Friend, As I'm sure you've heard, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled this week in an outrageous 5-4 decision that Louisiana's health regulation, Act 620, is unconstitutional. The state law simply requires abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of their abortion facility.
Every American should be deeply troubled by the Supreme Court's decision, as this was a commonsense regulation to protect women. The June Medical Services v. Russo case was about whether the states have a right and responsibility to institute basic health and safety regulations, and whether the abortion industry should have the ability to strike down those commonsense health regulations.
There's no way to sugarcoat it. This is a setback in the fight to protect our most-vulnerable.
That's why we have to commit today to work even harder to elect pro-life candidates who will stand with us in this fight.
President Trump has been working night and day to fill the federal courts with judges who revere and will follow our Constitution, but there is still a long way to go and we have to continue that momentum.
Can you chip in $5 right now to help elect conservatives who will help us meet this important goal?
The Supreme Court let the women of Louisiana- and all Americans -down this week. Their outrageous decision shows us yet again that our struggle is far from over, and we have to reaffirm our commitment to the cause of protecting the safety and the sanctity of every single human life.
