Last week I joined my colleagues in passing the Justice in Policing Act, and now we need your help to make this bill become law. Will you sign our petition demanding that Mitch McConnell bring the Justice in Policing Act up for a vote now?

The Justice in Policing Act brings much-needed reform to the way we police in America, and would end systemic violence against Black Americans. It would demilitarize police forces, ban chokeholds, make lynching a federal crime, and so much more.

The House stepped up and met this issue head-on, and now it's time for the Senate to do its job and pass the bill as soon as possible.

Without it, our country remains in the same status quo that allowed George Floyd to die at the hands of the police.

The American people have made it clear that we NEED policing reform. And now - once again - the only thing standing between our country and meaningful change is Mitch McConnell.
