Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the most significant transportation package in decades to invest in our communities, address climate change, and to create millions of jobs and opportunities for all.

This bill will rebuild our roads, bridges, transit, rail, drinking water and wastewater systems, ports, airports, and more. It will modernize our infrastructure and make it smarter and safer for all users. It also invests in programs to reduce carbon pollution in transportation, including more than $100 billion for transit systems to put more zero-emission busses on the road and provide more reliable services to expand ridership.

This bill is a gift to our country this Fourth of July and is exactly what we need to create jobs and revitalize our economy.
