Help send these Texas women to the House and Senate
Hi there,
For the first time in generations, Texas is a true battleground state.
And we have proudly endorsed six women for federal office that can turn it blue!
Donate $3 to help elect pro-choice Democratic women up and down the ballot in Texas this year.
One of four Senate candidates we’ve endorsed who can turn red seats blue, MJ Hegar (TX-SEN) is a decorated combat vet running to replace anti-choice Republican John Cornyn in the Senate. With her help, we can flip this chamber and retake the Senate majority this fall.
Sima Ladjevardian (TX-02) is running to turn a critical House seat blue this year. Sima is a breast cancer survivor, a political activist, and a first-generation immigrant, and is ready to bring her focus and determination to protecting reproductive rights to Congress.
Seven years after her historic filibuster, Wendy Davis (TX-21) is still a champion for choice, now running to flip a House seat. Wendy has never backed down in her fight to stand up for women, and we're with her every step of the way.
Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23) came within 1,000 votes of victory in 2018, one of our CLOSEST races that year. She's running again to flip this critical House seat, and we know she can win this time around. Gina is a proud veteran and member of the LGBTQ+ community, and exactly the kind of leader we want to see in a new, blue Texas.
Candace Valenzuela (TX-24) unseated an 18-year school board incumbent the first time she ran for office, and we know she can win her first House race too. Candace experienced homelessness as a young woman, so her mission to protect the social safety net Republicans are intent on shredding is personal.
And before Lizzie Pannill Fletcher (TX-07) flipped her seat in 2018, it had been under Republican control since George H.W. Bush won it in 1966. She's up for re-election this year, and Republicans are fighting HARD to win this seat back.
