Dear Friend,

Detroit is a city of grit and resilience. From the 1963 Walk to Freedom, which was the first major civil rights march in America, to the case of John Sinclair, which paved the way for marijuana legalization in the state, the people of Detroit have a long history of fighting for social change.

This November, we are bringing our own fight for change to Detroit.

The International Drug Policy Reform Conference not only draws its strength from the rich history of the drug policy movement, but also from the undeniable impact of work being done in communities internationally and locally. Throughout the state of Michigan, there are incredible organizations that advocate for and serve their communities, upholding the legacy of the changemakers before them.

This year, we are honored to be hosting the Reform Conference alongside 9 Michigan-based organizations who are fighting against the war on drugs in their local communities. Learn more about our co-hosts
