A quick recap: Republicans already have an unfair advantage, holding 10 out of Ohio’s 15 congressional seats. Ohio is not always the 50-50 swing state it used to be, but it went for Donald Trump with just 55%.

The state legislature is set to deliver a first draft of its new map in the days ahead — and some politicians want to tip the scales even more dramatically. Senator Bernie Moreno even claimed that “we will probably end up” with a 12 to 3 split, giving his party 80% of the seats in the House. That’s called cheating.
