Join our allies at Empower DC on Monday, 7/6 from 3-6 at Freedom Plaza to tell the DC Council that #BlackHomesMatter
The DC Council will take the 1st budget vote on Tuesday. They need to know that truly affordable housing - including public housing, ending homelessness, and preventing displacement are priorities! There is money in the budget - the street car has over $127 million allotted! DC can move money from the streetcar, MPD, K St transit, and rapid rehousing and raise revenue.
