Before leading missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom, I would gather all the soldiers under my command and give them a briefing in order to prepare them for anything and everything that might come our way during the mission. 

It’s a practice I’ve carried over into other aspects of my life and it’s something I want to bring to our campaign. 

And I’m starting right now — our campaign is kicking into high gear and I need you to be prepared for anything that comes our way in 2020. 

Making sure the people under your command are ready and prepared for anything is a crucial part of being a successful leader. 

John, I want you to pledge to follow our rules of engagement — from now until 2020. They represent the core values of our campaign and following them is a huge part of beating my career politician opponent and winning on Election Day.
