The moment you sign this important petition, you’ll get the opportunity to claim a free digital download of our exclusive e-book, The History of Free Speech, which will arm you with the intellectual ammunition you need to defend one of our most important freedoms.
It’s a small token of our thanks for your help in joining us in the fight to protect this sacred right.
As you and I both know, the First Amendment to our United States Constitution states that, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
But college administrations, professors, and students seem to have forgotten that fact.
Instead, in just the past few years, we have witnessed horrific acts of intimidation and even violence against students who dare to hold a conservative worldview.
- In 2017, at the University of California, Berkeley, a pro-Trump speaker was forced to cancel his planned appearance while a left-wing mob inflicted over $100,000 worth of damage on the campus.
- Also in 2017, biology professor Bret Weinstein received verbal abuse, calls for his firing, and threats of physical violence after refusing to take part in Evergreen University’s “Day of Absence,” which urged white people to stay off campus.
- Last year, conservative activist Hayden Williams was punched in the face while peacefully recruiting fellow conservatives to join a campus group at UC Berkeley.
The list goes on and on. But together, we can end this intimidation and abuse.
It all starts with your signature on this important national petition right now.
Remember -- many of the same students who, just a few years ago, were intimidating professors, assaulting their fellow students, rioting on campus, and shutting down free speech in the name of “social justice”...
... are now in the streets of virtually every major city assaulting police officers, intimidating passersby, and even rioting -- in the name of “social justice”!
They have burned local businesses to the ground.
They have stormed police precincts and ransacked them.
In Seattle, they have even taken control of six city blocks, which they now call the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” -- an area completely free of laws or a police presence!
The saddest part of this tragic episode in our nation’s history is that many of these radical activists wouldn’t have turned out this way on their own.
Many of them were set on the path to radicalism by their experiences at leftist-dominated universities that silenced dissent and immersed them in progressive ideology.
As I said, the loss of campus free speech has consequences, my friend -- not just for the young lives that are forever changed by it, but for our communities and our nation.
To be perfectly frank, if we don’t reopen the campuses for a free exchange of ideas, our nation’s future is in dire jeopardy.
Year after year, another crop of left-wing activists is churned out of the university system. Their numbers are growing, and the effects on our cities and states are becoming more and more terrifying.
Please help me end this indoctrination of our nation’s youth by reopening college campuses to a truly free exchange of ideas.
Stand for our First Amendment freedoms -- and for our nation’s future -- by signing the National Petition to Defend Campus Free Speech today.
