President Trump and the Republican Party want a national abortion ban. South Dakota’s current Senator Mike Rounds is prepared to fall in line and help them make it happen.
Don’t forget Mike Rounds’ record on reproductive rights: Back when Rounds was governor, he signed a near-total statewide abortion ban designed to challenge Roe v. Wade at a time when it was still the law of the land.
South Dakotans stood up, gathered signatures, and voted in a statewide referendum to reject Mike Rounds’ draconian abortion ban.
I’ll be frank, team: We can’t afford to go back in time.
South Dakotans deserve leaders who trust women, respect their medical decisions, and defend our rights. That’s why I’m running for Senate: to stand for those of us who believe in choice, fairness, and personal freedom.
I believe in a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions with her doctor. I support the right to choose in line with Roe, and I’ll fight to protect that right in the Senate.
