Derrick Van Orden took to Twitter to celebrate ABC’s decision to take Jimmy Kimmel off the air, because he knows it’s exactly what Donald Trump wanted.
He did what he seems to think is his job: tweeting about it nearly a dozen times. Not about lowering costs. Not about fixing our roads. Not about helping Wisconsin families. Just more culture war noise to score political points.
While Van Orden cheers shutting down a late-night show he disagrees with, he’s busy avoiding the hard work that comes with representing our community.
The House majority could come down to this district — and if we want to replace Van Orden with someone who actually shows up and fights for Wisconsin families, it’s going to take a powerful grassroots movement.
