Music gave me a voice, but this campaign is about making sure our whole community has a voice. Right now, that sure as hell is not happening. Monica De La Cruz votes with her billionaire friends while working families here in the Valley get left behind. We can do better than that sell out.
I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon. My parents worked hard so I wouldn’t have to suffer like they did. My dad picked crops in California before he earned a scholarship through music. My mom raised us with faith and discipline. From them, I learned that hard work and community always come first.
And now, I see families across South Texas working just as hard and still struggling to get ahead. Healthcare costs are crushing us. Groceries and gas keep climbing. Wages don’t match the time and sacrifice we put in. I live those same struggles as a dad and as a business owner.
But here’s the thing: if we come together, loud, proud, and united, we can flip this seat, send Monica packing, and bring real leadership to South Texas.
