Have you seen the latest polling about redistricting in California?
CA PROPOSITION 50 POLL
Yes: 54%
No: 29%
Undecided: 17%
USJF, August 28, 2025
According to the USJF , 54% of voters approve of the Proposition 50 language that would temporarily redistrict in California to fight back against Trump’s power grab in Texas.
What are the most important things this poll shows us? Voters are on board with California’s plan. Not only is this measure temporary and a direct response to the racial gerrymander in Texas that gives Republicans five more seats, but most importantly, it leaves it up to the people to decide.
Now, more than ever, it’s crucial to do whatever we can to push back against Trump’s attempt to thwart the will of the people and rig the midterms. Right now, that means supporting this ballot measure in California and fighting back in Missouri, Indiana, and beyond.
