Three of the most beloved late-night comedians in the US just boldly stood up against the SILENCING of Jimmy Kimmel and SPOKE OUT about Trump’s latest authoritarian attacks on our constitution.
Jon Stewart – host of The Daily Show – warned that Trump’s attacks on free speech are an attempt to “obscure an unprecedented consolidation of power.”
Stephen Colbert – who CBS FIRED after he criticized Trump – stated that Americans “cannot give an inch” to Trump’s autocratic schemes.
Seth Meyers – who Trump has demanded be fired by NBC – who Trump has demanded be fired by NBC – sounded the alarm that Trump’s attacks are“the opposite” of his promises to protect freedom of speech.
We’ll be blunt, John: ABC’s firing of Jimmy Kimmel at Trump’s order is just another example of the authoritarianism and dictatorship he wants.
