The Lincoln Project

Friend,

Ahh, how the tables have turned.

The story to Trump: “The media is trying to tear me down again.”

The story to people who live in the real world: “Even Fox News won’t hide the fact that Trump is doing a shitty job.”

When even Fox is calling you out, you have a big problem.

Trump’s favorite news network just helped us do our job. Since Election Day, we’ve been trying to tell MAGA voters how bad Donald Trump is at his job. Prices are going up. Health care is being cut. And why? All to support his rigged system.

This is a big victory. This means that every MAGA voter who tuned into Fox for their daily dosage of MAGA-skewed reporting saw this and thought, “Huh, maybe the guy who bankrupted three casinos and is too worried about being on the Epstein list to do anything isn’t doing the best job with our economy.”

And let’s not forget the underlying story here: Trump basically said he wants to start rigging polls in his favor. This would fall right in line with his other dictator-like behavior.

So to recap, MAGA knows Trump is failing, and Fox may get cancelled for reporting it. We’ll add this to the win column.

Our goal is to flip MAGA before the midterms. We’d say we’re right on track. Help us keep winning >>
