Yemen is unlike any tragedy witnessed before.

John,
What we are seeing in Yemen is unlike any tragedy witnessed before. COVID-19 is ripping through the country. And at the same time, conflict is ramping up — again.

It is an unimaginable nightmare. We need you to help us act now. »

Years of conflict have decimated Yemen's healthcare system. Hundreds of thousands of people have been driven into camps by war and violence. Overcrowded shelters, the threat of endemic diseases and lack of sanitation have created the ideal conditions for the spread of COVID-19. Please can you make a donation today to help us reach more families around the world, like those in Yemen? »

"The war destroyed our dreams." — Adeeyah, a mother in Yemen

Adeeyah told our teams about how the crisis has impacted her family: "We witnessed death. We used to escape the shelling by hiding in the roots of trees, airstrikes above us and Houthis' rockets in front of us. My children used to get up at night screaming in fear."

This is urgent, John. Working around the clock, our teams continue to deliver emergency health care and nutrition to those displaced by the conflict. But we need your support right now to help our programs worldwide and deliver more life-saving supplies. »

With your emergency donation, IRC teams can continue to rush supplies and aid to those who need it most — while continuing our life-saving programs around the world. Please, will you chip in today to help us reach more families in Yemen and around the world? »

COVID-19: The true scale of the pandemic in Yemen is still unknown. In Aden, there have been huge spikes in death rate recorded, but with one of the lowest testing capabilities in the world, most COVID-19 cases will go untested and undetected.

This will allow a deadly pandemic to rip through Yemen's already vulnerable population, wreaking even more havoc on its people.

With your support, IRC teams can continue to rush supplies and aid to those who need it most — while continuing our life-saving programs around the world.

There are 400+ IRC aid workers on the ground in Yemen providing health, nutrition, clean water and sanitation services.

By giving today, you'll help us provide emergency protective gear, virus screenings, hand-washing stations and essentials to combat COVID-19 and continue our life-saving work.

Yemen is in crisis, and we need you to help us act now so we can save as many lives as possible — both in Yemen and around the world.

Thank you in advance for your support and compassion,
