Right now, buying a house seems out of reach to many Americans. And thanks to Donald Trump playing yo-yo with our economy, it's not getting any easier for families to find a safe, affordable house.

That's why I authored A New Way Home. I talked to dozens of experts and Americans about how we could tackle housing affordability and insecurity – and I put all of their best ideas in this agenda.

Here's how we'll solve the housing crisis:

✅ Expanding housing supply by supporting new builds and rewarding communities that increase their housing supply.

✅ Build stronger communities by removing rental assistance barriers and investing in high-poverty neighborhoods.

✅ Make housing attainable by helping Seniors age in place and supporting workforce housing.

✅ Unlock innovative housing models by piloting permanent affordable housing and converting underutilized federal property.

✅ Invest in smart tax policies by re-establishing the first-time buyer tax credit and delivering rent relief to the most vulnerable.

I'm filled with hope that this agenda will change lives and give millions of Americans the relief they need.
