So, remember when President Trump said in March he "doesn't take responsibility at all" when asked about the administration's failure to address the coronavirus pandemic?

Well, last week he admitted to ordering the intentional slowing of testing in order to purposefully reduce the number of diagnosed cases. Just a few days later, the country experienced its highest single-day total of new cases.

There have been over 2.5 million confirmed cases of coronavirus in the U.S. so far. Almost 130,000 people have died already. And now, Dr. Fauci testifies that new coronavirus cases could "go up to 100,000 a day if this does not turn around."

There's one key story you should know this week: how Trump's coronavirus response has failed the American people.

"The Trump administration's response to the coronavirus pandemic has been a deliberate disaster from the beginning," says former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich. "It wasn't until the stock market reacted to the crisis and took a nosedive that Trump finally declared a national emergency."
