Our town hall last week proved it

John,
We’ve been saying it over and over, and our town hall last week proved it: this race is ours to win.
We had a packed house at the St. James Baptist Church in Coconut Grove for our first public town hall. A year out from Election Day.

Our Republican Congresswoman María Salazar has refused to meet with constituents — and she’s never held a town hall in all her years in office.
So I stepped up. Residents asked tough questions about housing, health care, immigration, and more. And I answered them all, because that’s what leadership is supposed to look like.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer: While she hides, I show up. While she protects her career, I’m determined to fight for us.
I’m fired up by the excitement and enthusiasm I’m seeing out on the campaign trail, but we can’t get complacent. I need supporters like you to help me spread the word! Can you watch and share the clips below?
* Calling out Salazar for being elitist, out of touch, and afraid — because she is. [[link removed]]
* Sharing a glimpse of the Miami Agenda I am preparing to release. [[link removed]]
Hear me when I say this: I intend to do what no Democrat has done in a long time. Win this primary, defeat Salazar, and give Miami the leadership it deserves.
But I can’t do it without you. So please, help me spread the word about our campaign by watching and sharing the clips from our town hall. Then, if you can, click here to chip in and help us get a head start on our end-of-month fundraising goal so we can keep building a winnable campaign and fight back against Salazar’s super PAC money. As I often tell my team: Let’s get after it!
