Exactly how much money is Trump making off of his presidency?

The New Yorker did some back-of-the-envelope math — and it’s staggering. Trump’s made an estimated $3.4 billion in profit from his presidency, including:

  • On Inauguration Day, he released a new meme coin and most of the Trump family followed suit. He’s profited to the tune of $385 million.
  • Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort has hauled in an extra $125 million in profits as he holds campaign events there and steers influence-seekers to his own resort.
  • He’s hawking Trump-branded Bibles and “Fight, Fight, Fight” perfume in his online store, bringing in $27.7 million in merchandise alone.
  • Trump accepted a luxury jet from the Qatari government worth $400 million and is now using taxpayer funds to the tune of $1 billion to retrofit it to use it as Air Force One.

As Trump is raking in the cash, he’s also picking the pockets of everyday Americans by pushing chaotic tariffs, taking away Medicaid, and giving tax cuts to billionaires and corporations that rip off consumers. Meanwhile, he's keeping up the rich claim that he’s been a champion for the middle class. What an abomination.

I’m not letting Trump get away with this. I’m questioning the Secretary of the Air Force on how retrofitting Trump’s Qatari jet is a good use of taxpayer funds. I’m pushing regulations that will rein in the crypto industry that has Trump in its pocket. I’m pushing stricter ethics rules for anyone who wants to do business with the government.

If you’re sick and tired of Trump profiting off of the presidency, and you want something to be done about it, please pitch in $28 or anything you can to our campaign if you’re able. We’re going to keep fighting this.

Trump promised to lower costs on Day One. But Trump only cares about one thing: Enriching himself.

That’s why he’s bullying companies into settling lawsuits that fill his presidential library coffers.

It’s why he’s pushing his chaotic tariffs so world leaders are forced to come and bend the knee to him in order to trade with us.

And it’s why he’s supported the GENIUS Act — a giveaway to the crypto industry that would allow Trump to personally profit from his stablecoin at the expense of consumers, our national security, and our financial stability.

Bottom line: Nobody in public office — members of Congress, the vice president, or the president — should have conflicts of interest like this. (Remember when President Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm to a blind trust to avoid even the appearance of corruption?)

I won’t let up on this, and I’ll keep exposing how Trump doesn’t give a damn about working families — he only cares about enriching himself.

Will you chip in to fuel our fight?

More to come soon.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
