Friend, President Trump is continuing his baseless attacks on Colorado’s free and fair elections, and using his favorite tactic — intimidation. Here’s his latest attempt to undermine your vote:

Donald Trump made clear that he does not care if his actions are legal or not. He announced that he’s moving Space Command headquarters from Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs to punish Colorado for conducting its elections through mail-in voting, which the U.S. Constitution authorizes us to do.

Colorado’s vote-by-mail system is safe, secure, and embraced by both Democrats and Republicans throughout the state. We will not be intimidated.

We are united in Colorado — Republicans and Democrats — in our strong bipartisan commitment to protect your vote. I’m standing firm with Colorado against the Trump administration from undermining the security and integrity of our elections.

As your Attorney General, I have taken President Trump to court to stop him from meddling in Colorado’s free and fair elections. We have secured an injunction to block his illegal executive order, because America is only a free country when every eligible voter has the right to vote, free from interference, threats, or coercion from anyone. 

And I’ll continue doing everything in my power to protect that sacred principle.
